Wear Valley Women’s Aid - WVWA

Wear Valley Women’s Aid is a support service for women and children who have been subjected to domestic abuse (find out more) the organisation encompasses Advice and Guidance, Outreach support and Refuge-based services. Women can choose to access one or all of these services. A women’s refuge is not hiding place, nor is a place which women ‘run away to’. It is a supportive environment and an alternative to living with abuse. Find out more about the services at WVWA
